Patrick Wilson & Katie Brianna

It’s not often that audiences witness an artist whose output is so grounded, personable, and heartrendingly honest. We’ve seen it with the likes of Marlon Williams, Kacey Musgraves and Roy Orbison, all stars in their own right, but it’s in Patrick Wilson that this unique class of alternative, old-time Americana finds its true north. Wilson’s rich, even-flowing voice tempts light to even the dar…

Tom Woodward is a folksinger, guitar picker and writer, of strange but compelling songs. He honed his craft in the thriving arts & music scene of Canberra and Melbourne in the mid-2000s. In 2023 he put down the guitar and embarked on a two-month walk up the east coast of Australia, ending in a hospital stay and a hard-earned respect for the fragility of life. A year and a half later he got dep…

We’ve seen it with the likes of Marlon Williams, Kacey Musgraves and Roy Orbison, all stars in their own right, but it’s in Patrick Wilson that this unique class of alternative, old-time Americana finds its true north.

Wilson’s rich, even-flowing voice tempts light to even the darkest corners of rooms and implores us, above all, to place trust in the hands of its owner. Make no mistake: Patrick Wilson is a man of his word.

A true musician of the rarest skill, he remains in demand as a drummer and long-time guitarist for a conglomeration of Australian acts, including Fanny Lumsden, Henry Wagons Georgia State Line, Lachlan Bryan and the Wildes, Ben Mastwyk and his Millions and many more. Wilson has supported The Bellamy Brothers (USA) and Australian country heavyweight Bill Chambers (Dead Ringer Band), and has travelled internationally playing shows alongside James Ellis and the Jealous Guys.

Catch him in Beechworth on his way to Tamworth, with Katie Brianna supporting.

In 2023 he put down the guitar and embarked on a two-month walk up the east coast of Australia, ending in a hospital stay and a hard-earned respect for the fragility of life. A year and a half later he got deported as an illegal alien from the USA.

Composed in the twilit limbo between these two life-shattering events, "Revolving Doors" is his new album. It was released in August 2024, and he will be touring it with shows in Australia throughout the summer and beyond. Joining him in Beechworth will be singer/violinist Emma Kelly, who also plays as Happy Axe.

Currently the team have been working on recording new material for their 2025 shows and are really looking forward to their first performance of the year in Beechworth. The setlist is full of original Alt Rock tunes that showcase a deeper 'n' darker songwriting direction than previous releases that is sure to hit you right in the feels.
Opening for the night is New Wave rockers KIT, hailing from Albury. They are sure to start the night off strong with a collection of originals that sound modern yet also throw it back to the '80/'90s era of synth rock.

Spending three years in an incubatory state, the band began as a trans Pacific collaboration between Christopher Stephenson (Spray Paint/Exek) and Krystal Maynard (Bad Vision/ex Polo) in 2016.
In 2021 the band delivered their 10-track debut album Expressions of Interest on Upset the Rhythm (UK) and Heavy Machinery (AU) to positive international response. The sound of the album ranges from electronic driven krautrock, to post-punk full of tribal toms and dirge-y synths to death-disco style tracks with touches of EDM. The record received praise on Maximum Rock ‘n’ Roll (USA), KEXP(USA), Post Trash(USA), Blunt Magazine(AU), Clash (UK). Off the back of the release, screensaver embarked on a 12-date tour of the USA in September 2022, playing Gonerfest 19 and making their way across the Midwest, South and East Coast, their high energy shows resulting in merch sold out well before the tour ended.
Joined by beach goths KINO MOTEL, hot off their debut album release and extensive European touring, the band are a Melbourne via Berlin 3-piece who push the dynamic range to extremes in both directions. Control and beauty and darkness featuring Ed Fraser (Cash Savage & The Last Drinks) and Rosa Mercedes (Josephine Foster Band).
